How to Set Up IPTV on a Samsung or LG Smart TV
Samsung and LG TVs run IPTV Trends through a player from the TV's own app store, so there's nothing to plug in. You link the app to your subscription with the TV's MAC address and your M3U playlist link.

Before you start
- Your IPTV Trends login from the activation email (free trial or paid plan)
- Your Samsung / LG Smart TV connected to the internet
- At least 10 Mbps for HD streams, 25 Mbps for 4K
Step-by-step setup
Step 1: Install a player from the TV's app store
Install Smart IPTV (SIPTV) or IBO Player.
- Samsung: Apps → search 'Smart IPTV' or 'IBO Player'
- LG: LG Content Store → search the app name
Step 2: Write down the MAC address
Open the app. It shows a MAC address (and for IBO Player, a device key). Note them down exactly.
Step 3: Upload your M3U playlist
On a phone or computer, open the app's official playlist page (siptv.app/mylist for Smart IPTV), enter the MAC address and paste the M3U link from your email.
- MAC address → the code shown on your TV
- Link / URL → your IPTV Trends M3U link
- Send, then restart the app on the TV
Your login arrives by email the moment you subscribe or start your free trial: Server URL, Username, Password and your M3U playlist link. Can't find it? Check spam, or open a support ticket and we'll resend it.
Step 4: Start watching
Reopen the app on the TV. Channels are grouped by category and the TV guide fills in after a minute.
Troubleshooting
Smart IPTV and IBO Player charge a small one-time activation fee to their developers after a short trial. That fee is separate from your IPTV Trends plan and unlocks the app on that TV.
Close the app completely (not just the Home button) and open it again. If it still shows the old list, upload the M3U link again.
Restart the device and your router, then test your speed: you need about 10 Mbps for HD and 25 Mbps for 4K. Use a wired (Ethernet) connection where you can, and switch the player's decoder to hardware if the app offers it.
