How to Watch IPTV on Windows PC & Mac
On a computer you have two options: the IPTV Smarters desktop app for the full channel guide, or VLC if you just want to open your playlist quickly.

Before you start
- Your IPTV Trends login from the activation email (free trial or paid plan)
- Your Windows / Mac connected to the internet
- At least 10 Mbps for HD streams, 25 Mbps for 4K
Step-by-step setup
Step 1: Option A: IPTV Smarters desktop
Download IPTV Smarters for Windows or macOS from the official IPTV Smarters website and install it.
Step 2: Log in with Xtream Codes
Choose 'Login with Xtream Codes API' and enter your details.
- Name: anything you like, e.g. IPTV Trends
- Username and Password: exactly as written in your email (they're case-sensitive)
- Server URL: the full address including http:// and the port number
Your login arrives by email the moment you subscribe or start your free trial: Server URL, Username, Password and your M3U playlist link. Can't find it? Check spam, or open a support ticket and we'll resend it.
Step 3: Option B: VLC
In VLC open Media → Open Network Stream (Mac: File → Open Network), paste your M3U link and press Play.
Step 4: Go full screen
Press F (or double-click the video) for full screen.
Troubleshooting
VLC opens the first channel in the list. Press Ctrl+L (Mac: ⌘+Shift+L) to open the playlist and switch channels, or use the IPTV Smarters desktop app for a full guide.
Copy the Username, Password and Server URL again from your activation email. Most errors come from a missing http://, a missing port number, or a capital letter typed as lowercase. If your trial or plan has expired, choose a plan on our pricing page.
